Junior Surveyors to join our outstanding team. Geomatics and Civil Engineering Students looking to gain experience throughout the upcoming summer are encouraged to apply. **Listed below are the current opportunities available. This list will be updated frequently as we have new work scopes throughout Western Canada set to begin in the early spring

Current Opportunities:

Kitimat, British Columbia

Fly-In/Flyout (FIFO), campbased positions. Excellent camplife and accommodations.
Charter flights out of major hubs in Western Canada. Travel allowance for workers travelling from outside of these hubs will be considered.
Excellent entrylevel compensation and training resources.

Capabilities and Responsibilities:

Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with team members.
Possess a safetyconscious mindset and adherence to the Apex safety program.
Assist in a variety of surveyrelated tasks such as the setup of conventional survey and GPS systems, survey data collection, and other duties as directed by the Surveyor.
Possess a general understanding for interpretation of construction drawings.
Complete daily field notes, sketches and reports according to job specifications and Apex operational procedures.
Inspect, operate and maintain survey equipment, tools and vehicles.
Have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction.
Eagerness and willingness to learn new technical skills.
Adherence with quality assurance procedures and quality control practices.
As a representative of Apex Geomatics, you are to conduct yourself with a professional, cordial attitude with clients.
Must enjoy working outside.

Education and Experience:

A recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Geomatics or Civil Engineering program.
Previous field experience not required; however industrial construction experience would be considered an asset.
Basic knowledge of CAD standards and familiarity with Trimble survey equipment would be advantageous.
Valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract.
All pertinent safety training certifications will be provided.
