    We are a well-funded start-up that has reinvented the way people are booking corporate travel for clients across North America.

    It has disrupted the space by developing an AI powered recommendation engine that has radically improved corporate travel for individuals and corporations.

    The travel industry is a $1.4 trillion dollar business and we are poised for tremendous growth as the proven leader for corporate travel and agents.

    We currently have agreements with many corporate travel agencies and are already serving millions of travellers across North America.

    We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

    Reporting to the QA Lead, you will work closely with the development and product teams to establish testing strategies, design and implement test plans.

    Competitive compensation packageFull health and dental insurance benefitsRemote work environment3 weeks vacation10 paid sick days per year3 paid personal wellness days per yearProfessional development opportunitiesAs a QA Automation Engineer, you will:Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsCreate detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testingDesign, develop and execute automation scripts using Restful APIs and SeleniumDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing product functionality to meet client needsLiaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirementsTrack quality assurance metrics, e.g.

    defect densities and open defect countsStay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategiesSkills and Qualifications:BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject5+ years of previous experience in QA roleProven work experience as a Software Development Engineer in testProven work experience in software quality assuranceStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processesExperience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processesExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test casesExperience with creating automation framework using tools like Selenium with pythonHands-on experience with automated testing toolsTechnical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Office 365, etc.
