Description

Responsibilities:

Maneuvering heavy equipment to load, unload and stack containers within a private Container yard.
Load and unload containers to or from chassis or ground.
Moving containers to and from repair area.
Perform accurate daily pretrips on equipment and vehicles on Container Handler or Lift Truck Inspection Sheets.
Inspection of Equipment and containers on inbound and outbound for any possible damage.
Reefer Monitoring inspection of Containers while in depot.
Assist with Daily Inventory Report to ensure stacking of containers from Shipping Lines are complying within all customer contacts.
Perform routine yard checks.
Accurately record lifts within our customer's system and assist Gate Staff in any work overflow.
Maintain and service yard equipment to manufacturers requirements, i.e., Toplift/Forklift/Powerpack (verifying oil levels, lubrications etc.) Support company's commitment to ISO9000 Cert.
Perform other jobrelated duties as required.

Qualifications:

High school education
Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
Minimum 1 year transportation experience or customer service experience
Able to demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
Strong data entry skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure Team player

Salary will be based on experience.
