In order to enable successful competitive outcomes, BPO CSC engineers are fully integrated within the project teams, working closely with project development and execution resources to deliver industry leading projects.

While schedule & cost performance is owned by the project manager; the Cost, Schedule & Controls engineer utilizes discipline knowledge and toolkit to provide key insights to project team and the business through analysis and clear communication and supports the completion of the project per the POS.

Responsibilities

Provide cost, schedule estimate input into project objective & strategies, project scope optimization, project reviews, execution planning strategies and overall project implementation
Support cost estimate development across multiple project stages with project/business team input
Support planning and schedule development across multiple project stages with project/business team input; facilitate planning workshops
Support aggressive target setting and opportunity & vulnerability workshops
Support implementation of benchmarking feedback into project basis
Support project benchmarking activities / feedback and support reappraisals and actual project cost data feedback
Provide and support function with market analysis data, innovative data management solutions and final project benchmarking data
As a site based position, the Project Service Coop will be expected to engage regularly with field and refinery resources.

Qualifications:

Academic

Enrolled in an engineering program from an accredited university in Canada
Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
Preference for Civil or Mechanical Engineering but all disciplines will be considered

Other

Must have strong communication and collaboration skills that enables you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups.
Proficiency with Power BI and exposure with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
