- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a master's degree in a relevant discipline such as management, business, education, adult education or counselling. A master's degree in Social Work would be considered an asset.
- You have a minimum of five years (full-time equivalent) of relevant occupational experience in a similar student services role, with significant experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
- You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, E-maill eg. One Note, Survey, SharePoint etc.)
- You have experience with enterprise systems including data and case management tracking, i.e. PeopleSoft
- You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience
- You have experience or training in areas of conflict management, mediation, trauma informed practice and student conduct policies
- You have experience forecasting and managing budgets
- You have experience in training/facilitation preparation, delivery and evaluation

- Lead, develop and manage the delivery of support services at Ivany Campus year-round with academic scheduled programming from 7:30am - 9:00pm and an average student enrolment of approximately 2800.
- Lead and support the student service team responsible for providing a wide range of services at the campus level. These services include student life and engagement, registration and enrolment services, counselling and wellness, accessibility (disability) services, learning support, career and employment services, and financial support services.
- Support the Vice-Principal in managing student housing at the campus level.
- Engage with the provincial Student Affairs leadership team to ensure that Student Affairs' strategic initiatives and operational priorities are implemented successfully at the Ivany Campus.
- Steward and educate the campus community on student policies such as Student Community Standards, Respectful Communities, and Sexual Violence.
- Lead the management of complex student issues through coordination of campus and college teams, resources and expertise.
- Provide leadership for supporting critical incident response for campus incidents involving students and the campus community.
- Coordinate, inspire and model competency in diversity and inclusion programming and practices.
- Be an effective and contributing member of the campus management team and a provincial Student Services management team.
- As Ivany Campus has expanded hours, all management roles require flexibility to meet operational requirements.
