Overview


We are looking for an individual who will represent our company in a positive manner while being an ambassador of health, wellness, and the Booster Juice brand.

This position is based out of Booster Juice's Edmonton or Toronto office.

About Our Team
We facilitate all creative for the Booster Juice brand across Canada.

Some projects managed by the team include print/digital advertising, signage for events and in-store, social media content, POS for new in-store feature products, contests, menu management, App design, grand opening support, and national/regional sponsorships.

The person in this role will be based in the Edmonton or Toronto Head Office full-time.

In this role, reporting to the National Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with the CEO, Marketing Director and other team members to create and develop new designs or refine existing ones for all national and regional initiatives
  • Collaborates with internal multifunctional departments and franchise partners to understand needs and goals, then developing creative solutions to meet objectives
  • Guide creative team in the creation of creative assets for digital, social media, large format, animations and video projects
  • Recommend innovative approaches to graphic design problems
  • Maintains project management platform and manages production process to ensure print ready assets are prepared based on guidelines
  • Maintains quality, consistency and adheres to the Booster Juice brand guidelines
  • Bring creative ideas and a unique skillset to the department
  • Acts as a mentor to junior team members
  • Have a bright, fun and colourful design style

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with members of the marketing team to facilitate Franchise Partner (FP) requests across Canada including local sponsorship or store specific promotions, grand openings, anniversary celebrations, directional signage, outdoor advertising (i.e., transit or billboard campaigns), flyers, coupons, posters and digital banners
  • Communicate with the Marketing Director and members of the marketing team to facilitate national marketing materials including new product launch campaigns, instore feature signage, national sponsorship promotions, event signage, largescale digital and print advertising campaigns, social media content, gift card designs, and corporate communication tools
  • Support existing graphic designers with operational and store development requests including menu board updates, large format exterior decals, and interior store design as required
  • Communicate project updates with IT, Marketing, Store Development, Franchising and Operations team as needed
  • Consult with the Marketing Director to evaluate external production vendor invoices, quality of materials and efficiency to ensure the company is receiving the best production value available
  • Ensure brand consistency in all designs and follow the brand standards
  • Work with the marketing team toward ontime delivery of marketing materials

Requirements:


  • Degree, Diploma and/or Certificate in Graphic Design
  • Minimum 35 years of experience collectively focused on graphic design
  • Possesses a strong portfolio with professional work examples that demonstrates concept development with excellent use of typography and composition
  • Ability to export and prepare files for web with knowledge of web design fundamentals
  • Flexible, positive "cando" attitude with strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Effective communicator who can present ideas to stakeholders
  • Experience working in a corporate or agency environment
  • Good knowledge of print production and prepress skills an asset
  • Strong execution skills and an ability to meet deadlines
  • Photography knowledge is considered an asset
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fastpaced, highenergy environment
  • High attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Patient and open to feedback and construction criticism from multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading to produce quality marketing materials
  • An understanding of retail design best practice is considered an asset
