ContainerWorld is presently recruiting for an Inventory Planning role available in our Logistics and Supply Chain Department in Richmond, BCAbout ContainerWorld:
ContainerWorld located in Richmond, British Columbia is a premier logistics provider for the beverage industry; privately owned company with approximately 500 employees throughout its nine BC facilities.
Position Type:
Regular Full-Time
Working Days & Hours:
Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)**
Location:Richmond, BC**
Position Overview:
- Replenishes inventory for key account customers, as per customer's guidelines, while taking into consideration any possible risk management to their portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
- Forecast product demand for assigned accounts
- Loads forecast into our inhouse planning system
- Using our forecasting model calculates future product demand
- Compare and validate customer supplied forecasts
- Maintain pricing for assigned accounts
- Provide reporting to assigned accounts
- Provide back up and support to other team members
- Other duties as assigned
Required Competencies:
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Independently identifies and analyses readily available facts
- Some creative problem solving is required to execute assigned work
- Provides input on priorities and policies directly affecting their role
- Attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Advance computer skills, such as MS Excel and Word
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
