PET Technologist, Molecular Imaging and Therapy - Vancouver

Job summary
Perform all aspects of clinical PET/CT scanning including selecting the appropriate imaging protocol positioning the patient for the scan performing image acquisition and data reconstruction presenting the final image data set to PET physician interpretation Prepare patient for actual scanning procedure by explaining entire procedure answering pertinent questions obtaining informed consent prior starting Monitor patient safety during procedures by methods such as obtaining blood pressure readings directly observing patients physical signs distress Respond emergent situations in accordance with facility policies procedures may required perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation event emergency Operate PET associated CT computers equipment established standards procedures Consult Lead PET Technologist PET physician appropriate team members technical difficulties concerns arise during any part of patients procedure
