We are looking for a highly capable machine learning engineer to help build and optimize our machine learning systems.
You will be evaluating existing machine learning (ML) processes, performing statistical analysis to extract useful data from diverse datasets, and enhancing the accuracy of our AI's predictive powers.
To ensure success as a machine learning engineer, you should possess solid data science knowledge and experience in a related ML role.
Design machine learning systems to automate predictive models using signals from the software development lifecycle process including calendars, source code control (SCM), integrated development environments (IDE) as well as user feedbackTransform business asks into ML solutions, while leading a team through execution of these solutions
Document machine learning processes.
Keep abreast of developments in machine learning and lead the team through appropriate adoption
Work with the team to constantly evolve and uplevel the ML and Data practice at Tempo.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align on priorities and value.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and the Tempo Engineering community at large.
Recommend strategies around maintaining ML and data assets to ensure durable operation and optimization over the duration of their useful lifespan.
Ensure that all data and ML process are developed fairly and in accordance with appropriate legal requirements.Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field. At least 8 years experience as a machine learning engineer.
Advanced proficiency with code writing: Python, Java etc
Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture such as Sagemaker, HuggingFace, VertexAI, LLMs, etc
