Look Master Builder Edmonton Inc. is medium sized builder and is looking to add a full time Site Superintendent to the team. This position requires someone to have strong organizational skills, a solid knowledge of construction with the ability to manage multiple tasks while holding trade partners accountable.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction from stakeout to completion;
- Oversee all tasks to ensure homes are built within targeted timelines, on budget and as per scopes of work;
- Build and maintain working relations with building partners, team members and homeowners;
- Inspect all completed work and maintain quality control;
- Clean and ensure site preparedness for homes under construction and possessions;
- Manage and oversee construction schedule;
- Complete repairs such as drywall, paint touch ups, interior finishing items, floor squeak etc.;
- Perform labor responsibility as required on jobsites;
- Monitor and manage all VPOs;
- Emergency/On Call duties to address situations such as of loss of power/heat or water leaks;
- Maintain and oversee site safety protocols;
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Superintendent in new home construction;
- A comprehensive understanding of construction fundamentals and the construction process;
- Knowledge of current building code requirements and best practices;
- Proficiency in multiple trade functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting etc.;
- Strong customers service background;
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow;
- Selfmotivated with ability to work well independently and as a team;
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
