Description

Securiguard seeks highly capable security and investigations professionals to join our retail OFA 2 Guards Team.

If you have a passion for working in a vibrant setting, enhancing your skill set, and delving into potential opportunities in law enforcement, this opportunity is for you.

As part of this team, you'll operate within select retail stores, responsible for apprehending shoplifters, tracking repeat offenders, and gathering intelligence on ongoing crime activities.

What you bring:

Valid BC Security Worker License (required)
OFA2 (required)
Security / Loss prevention experience
1 year (preferred)
Must be flexible to work in multiple stores/locations
Must be able to stand for an 8hour period
Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis
Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required
Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor
Excellent judgment and decisionmaking ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictate
