Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Marwood wide stamping process improvements (cycle times etc.)
Attend die design reviews
Test various types of sensors, record and compare data
Create and install sensor packages for dies
Build necessary testing equipment, i.e. test cart for dies
Troubleshooting/testing of problematic sensors
Organize and order stock, maintain inventory
Establish contacts with various sensor companies
Create necessary drawings with CAD for sensor blocks, levers, plungers, etc.
Work with tool contractors, machine shops and specialty services to develop tool and product prototypes
Test functional performance of tooling and parts
Research and development of new methods and technology
Drive PDCA loops to improve speeds and stop times
Eliminate sensor related downtime
Report out weekly to management on improvement activities
