***: The primary role of the Material Handler will be to ensure the accurate and efficient movement of product throughout the Hospitality Department during events. This will include picking and delivering, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records, audits, and counts of product then provided to warehouse management. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.


A typical shift includes:

  • Performing transactions in the inventory management system through manual entry or scanners
  • Delivering product in a timely manner to various locations throughout the building
  • Ensuring daily communication with warehouse management regarding inventory movements, workspace organization, and daily tasks
  • Assisting with daily administrative duties such as perpetual inventory counts and keeping logs accurate and up to date
  • Assisting with sustainability measures through recycling and disposal of all hospitality waste as appropriate both pre
- and post-event, ensuring workspaces are set up for success

  • Abiding by building health and safety codes at all times
  • Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • At least one year of experience in a related warehouse environment
  • Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
  • Must have own steel toe work boots
  • Enthusiastic, selfmotivated, and detailoriented
  • Demonstrated ability to work on one's own and cooperate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 202
  • This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
