Job summary

Reporting to the Controller, this position will be responsible for all areas relating to Operational Accounting for German operations.

Maintain the general ledger including preparation and review of journal entries Reconcile bank accounts and financial records Support payroll processing related reporting Support completion of monthly consolidated account reconciliations Inventory Accounting including costing variance analysis reporting reconciliation Financial Reporting Prepare monthly quarterly annual financial statements management reports bank reports variance analysis Assist with inventory valuation COGS analysis reconciliation Collaborate with operations supply chain gather cost data Perform bank general ledger reconciliations Process Improvement Identify implement internal controls safeguard Company assets Audits Support internal external audits ERP Implementation Strategically allocate Coordinate external accountants auditors advisors needed Bachelor degree accounting finance required CPA designation Years relevant accounting financial analysis required years Inventory accounting experience required Knowledge accounting principles best practices procedures Proven experience process documentation accounting procedures internal controls dynamic environment Ability create cost expense allocation appropriately share expenses various projects business units reporting entities Possess thorough understanding financial reporting general ledger structure Excellent written communication skills preparation presentation verbal written reports presentations recommendations Ability work independently manage time effectively meet individual goals deadlines Excellent time management multitasking prioritizing skills Establish effective working relationships others successfully lead mentor coach motivate Demonstration highest level of integrity trust Expert user Microsoft suite products Excel Word Outlook Experience Sage X preferred but not required
