Circular Rubber Technologies is looking to hire an impact-driven
Financial Analyst to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making within an organization.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to gather and analyze financial information, create financial models, and generate reports.


Responsibilities:

In your role as an Analyst, you will be responsible for:


Financial Analysis and Reporting:


  • Conduct indepth financial analysis, including revenue, cost, and profitability analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Monitor actual financial results against budgeted targets and provide explanations for variances.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of different scenarios.
  • Prepare financial milestone reports for Federal and Provincial grant agencies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:


  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Track and analyze financial performance against budgeted targets.
  • Provide recommendations for budget adjustments based on financial analysis.
  • Support the preparation of financial presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of longterm financial plans and strategic financial goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and understand business drivers.
  • Work with operations and sales teams to analyze the financial impact of various initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights and support decisionmaking processes across the organization.
  • Participate in crossfunctional projects to ensure financial considerations are addressed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in financial operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance & accounting
  • Additional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) may be preferred or beneficial.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, financial modeling software, and ERP systems.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, financial metrics, and key performance indicators.
  • Experience in conducting financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Previous involvement in crossfunctional projects and collaboration with different departments.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting requirements and compliance.
  • Experience with financial milestone reporting for Federal and Provincial grant agencies is beneficial
