Environmental Design Group is an established, award winning landscaping firm, providing landscape design, construction, residential and commercial maintenance and snow removal to our clients in the greater GTA area _
for over 70 years.

In this role, you will use your creative and artistic talents to create original and inspiring landscape designs for our customers.

The successful applicant will posses artistic skill on paper and in 3D software, as well as an understanding of both plant and building materials, and landscape techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and finalize information requirements for projects
Organize data collection and identify product sources
Assemble reports and proposals
Generate/coordinate high quality illustrations, 3D renderings, and presentation materials
Assist in all stages of the design/sales process including design, costing, permitting and drafting of contract
Prepare construction documentation, draft reports, memos and correspondence
Assist construction field staff with plan execution, including construction specifications and details
Assist with project tracking and costing

Qualifications

Specialist training in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design
BLA, MLA or college diploma in Landscape Architecture
Competent with design software (AutoCad/Dynascape and Sketchup)
Experience with landscape design, construction sales and marketing
Field experience in landscape construction desirable
Possessing technical knowledge of soft landscaping construction methods anddetails
Well rounded knowledge of soft landscaping, including plant material and plant ID
Experience with sales, client contact, permitting and contract management desirable
Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to work within the existing office and field personnel team

Salary:
$50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
