    Description
    We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT Systems Team.

    The Systems Administrator deploys and maintains core IT Infrastructure services, business applications, network, security systems, telephony services, backup and data center environments.

    The Systems Administrator is also responsible for monitoring the Infrastructure services and should be security-focused. Collaborating with the other members, the administrator coordinates regular maintenance upgrades and participates in technology projects.

    The Systems Administrator provides coaching and mentorship to other staff, small-scale training and presentation to users, and participates in the making of IT policies and procedures to meet regulatory compliance and governance.

    In your position as Senior Systems Administrator, your initial responsibilities will include:
    Infrastructure Design, installation and maintenance of infrastructure.


    Technical Skills Required:
    Routing, switching, firewall, complex wireless networks (layer 1, 2, 3 networking).
    Server systems design, installation, and support.
    Storage (SAN, NAS) infrastructure design, installation, and support.
    Microsoft-based networking including Active Directory deployments.
    Database systems installation and support.
    Network Security Design, maintenance, testing and reporting.
    Provide guidance in project management.

    Good working knowledge of these technologies: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Network firewalls, PowerShell, .Net, Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint, Visio.

    Understanding of infrastructure architecture, including public and private cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage.
    Automate as many IT tasks as possible. Systems updates, reboots, preventative-maintenance tasks, create new scripts when needed/required for deploying these and other applications.
    Good technical experience of common database technologies, such as SQL Database/Server and Web app development, .Net development.
    Understanding of access management, administration, and application support.
    Understanding of IT infrastructure, including performing backups, upgrading and patching, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, deployments, and disaster recovery.
    Elite Accounting software, iManage Document management software.
    Discover new technologies that can be used to make us better, and reduce the risk to our clients. This includes mitigating the risk to data from corruption, theft, or hacking.


    Non-Technical Skills Required:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science or related
    ~6+ years of production application support and incident response experience
    ~6+ years of implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting web and SQL servers
