What you offer
Delivery experience:
- Must have a valid drivers license with no at fault collisions or DUIs in the last 6 years
- Interest in continually upgrading skills and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment, and prioritize deliveries based on urgency and requirements
- Willing to work overtime if required
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs
- Completing written work orders and associated paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Any mechanical experience is a plus.
Other Skills:
- Possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities.
- Determine the necessity of replacement or cleaning based on visual inspection and equipment readings.
- Remove and replace defective air and fuel filters.
- Clean filters when possible, ensuring they meet or exceed manufacturer specifications.
- Repair or replace other parts associated with the filter system as required.
- Prioritize repair work based on urgency and requirements.
- Understanding the various exhaust systems and diesel filters.
- Shop equipment maintenance and operation (to disassemble and clean DPFs).
As a DPF delivery driver and DPF shop assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Work vehicle maintenance.
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes in and following time schedules in GPStracked vehicles.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Make sure safety inspections, oil changes, basic maintenance, and minor repairs are done in a timely manner.
- Managing Inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary:
$25.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
