Cook TeamSetup Working Area
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking utensils
- Prepare all sauces, garnish and meats for service
- Check food while its cooking, stir or turn as needed
- Check the quality of the ingredients and discard as needed
- Cook food to the exact specifications listed on the chit
- Ensure great presentation of the dishes before they are served
- Communicate with your fellow cooks to ensure all food for each table comes out at the same time
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Change fryer oil as needed and clean entire machine each change
- Use the F.I.F.O. when stocking your area
- Check the cleanliness of the fridges, empty and clean as needed
- Check the cleanliness of the equipment, clean as needed
- Notify Management if equipment is not working properly
- Whenever possible help out the other staff members
Put away clean dishes from dishwashing station
Clear plates from back counter
Help roll cutlery
Never leave another staff member alone in the restaurant at the end of night
End of Your Shift
- Make sure you leave your area the way you want it left for you
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
