We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic

Intermediate Business Analyst for our

Toronto branch for a 6-month engagement with potential to extend to deliver consultative services directly to our clients and build relationships with our stakeholders You will be supporting in developing interface designs, prototypes, data flow diagrams, system models and preparing user stories.


A Day in the Life:


  • Perform needs analysis, gather, and analyze business and technical requirements and provide recommendations for solutions and business process modifications
  • Work with technical teams to turn end user and business requirements into solution design and implementation plans
  • Work with project stakeholders from end users to executive sponsors to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage their needs
  • Manage stakeholder needs, especially when conflicting, to drive stakeholders to a consensus
  • Manage and verify the fulfillment of requirements through testing, quality assurance, and pilots
  • Spot technical constraints to the proposed solutions
  • Collecting data via MS form survey as well as data from the asset team stored in a spreadsheet and entering it manually into Service Now
  • Prepare user stories, software requirement documents, and other required functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with other IT experts and address business, technical, and hardware needs
  • Work with the business to redesign any customizations to automate and streamline the process as we understand how best the teams will be using the data.

What You Bring:


  • 5+ years' professional IT industry experience in a business analyst role within a large, complex consulting environment and with multitechnology solutions
  • Able to create/modify PowerBI reports
  • Previous experience with Service Now
  • Previous experience generating interface designs, prototypes, data flow diagrams, and system models
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Technical writing experience
  • Strong ITIL/ITSM framework knowledge
  • Excellent written communication
