- DZ license with a clean driver's abstract
- Available to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes

- Experience in snow and ice control along with knowledge of OTM book 7

Day in the Life
As an Operator/Patroller, you will begin to know the highway like the back of your hand as you perform road maintenance on provincial highways and respond to emergency situations such as spills, accidents, inclement weather, and assist in implementing an emergency plan. When you are not patrolling the highways, you will be conducting daily circle checks on vehicles, cleaning, and performing equipment maintenance as required. Safety will be your number one priority, especially when providing traffic control at accident scenes and making snow and ice control decisions such as initiating equipment and operator call outs. It will also be important to stay organized when completing daily timesheets and log books.
You will be an essential member of the maintenance team and first point of contact in some situations. If you have a safety focused mindset and love to be on the road, this is the ideal role for you.
