Avis Budget Group is looking for a Fleet Coordinator (Intern) to perform a variety of tasks within the Fleet/Vehicle Administration and management.
We're looking for a detail-oriented, meticulous professional with a methodical approach.Reports To:
Fleet Department
As a Fleet Coordinator Intern, you will:
- New vehicle package preparation
- New vehicle delivery / tracking
- Generate and pay invoices
- Request / renew / cancel license plates as appropriate, and enter data to various MTO systems.
- Update Fleetlister and marshal cars sold with a consistent, detailoriented process as well as pull documentation/spare keys for sold vehicles
- Send copies of registrations and insurance verification
- Update pipeline spreadsheets daily using MS Excel
- Process returned plates/matching up ownerships to plates
- Provide fleet detail reports to support monthend reporting
- Assign and monitor vehicle tracking devices (AIRIQ)
- Work with our AIRIQ vendors to install devices and order parts
- Organize and manage spare key room
- Process and submit vehicle PDI forms
- Complete other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Enrollment in/Recent graduate of a postsecondary degree or diploma in Logistics
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional approach at all times
- Logical and analytical, with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Previous experience working in Fleet Coordinator capacity or held Fleet Clerk duties
- Employee engagement experience
