    Human Resources Business Partner

    Tundra is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner based out of Tundra's Virden, Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, or Calgary, Alberta office for an 18-month maternity leave coverage term.

    This position serves as a strategic partner to identified business units within Tundra, providing expertise in areas such as recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and talent management.

    Develops strong relationships with business leaders to understand the goals, challenges, and priorities of the business.

    Leads talent acquisition efforts for assigned business units, including workforce planning, sourcing, assessing, selection, and onboarding.

    Advises and coaches managers on employee relations matters, including performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

    Conducts investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate solutions.

    Implements performance management processes and provides coaching to managers on performance-related issues.

    Partners with the business to enable professional development/training, including identifying both internal and external employee training needs. Provide inter-departmental mentorship and guidance to other HR team members as required.

    Assist with the development and administration of policies and procedures, including the optimization of HR processes.

    Complete reporting on behalf of the HR function for Tundra's annual sustainability report.

    Assist with various HR projects as they arise.

    Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience is required.

    Prior oil and gas production and exploration knowledge and experience is considered an asset.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.

    Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS software is an asset.

    Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to influence leadership.

    Ability to manage shifting priorities.
