We are seeking a motivated and organized Dispatch Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dispatch Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient coordination of our operations.

You will work closely with our dispatch team, drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our products/services.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the dispatch team in managing and coordinating daily schedules for drivers.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address any deliveryrelated inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery orders, routes, and customer information.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and delivery efficiency.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and reports related to dispatch activities.
  • Assist in resolving any delivery issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely loading of delivery vehicles.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in dispatch and logistics.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle pressure effectively.
  • Proficiency in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with geographical areas and routes is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude and a team player mentality.

$10.00 per hour
