Taylor Leibow LLP is a full-service Chartered Professional Accounting firm located in Hamilton, Ontario.

For the last 75 years, Taylor Leibow has served a diverse set of clients and is one of the largest independent CPA firms in the Hamilton and Burlington regions.

Taylor Leibow is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our Business Valuations Department.

The Business Valuation and Litigation Support Department:

  • Assesses the value of businesses for legal disputes and other matters;
  • Quantifies economic damages for legal disputes; and
  • Helps with the purchase and sale of business interest.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:


The Administrative Assistant is accountable for a full range of administrative duties to support the members of the Business Valuations Department.

As a general description, the primary role of this position is to keep the team organized and on track, to streamline operations, and to maximize the efficient flow of documents and correspondence.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:


Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, scanning, categorizing and filing client files in a paperlessoffice environment;
  • Tracking and updating project status;
  • Reviewing reports as part of qualitycontrol;
  • Printing, collating and binding reports;
  • Preparing and distributing mailings;
  • Tracking departmental statistics;
  • Responding independently and appropriately to telephone inquiries;
  • Acting as an executive assistant to the department head;
  • Data entry into Excel templates; and
  • Manipulating tables, graphs and charts in Microsoft Word and Excel.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Secondary school diploma and/or post secondary education in a related field;
  • A minimum of 12 years of administrative experience within a professional office setting;
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Experience with Caseware would be considered an asset;
  • Reception experience would be considered an asset.
