- Plan, organize, and manage building construction projects from inception to completion, including commercial, industrial, and institutional developments.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide clear direction to the project team and ensure optimum utilization of resources (labor, materials, and equipment).
- Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure they are in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Resolve construction-related issues, including conflicts with subcontractors, design changes, and logistical challenges.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with legal regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
- Monitor and control project costs, recommending corrective actions as needed to stay within budget.
- Conduct final inspections and coordinate the handover of completed projects to clients, ensuring all punch-list items are addressed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field is preferred.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in building construction, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Proven track record of managing building projects.
- Strong knowledge of building construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar), project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project), and budget tracking systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, contracts, and technical drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
