The Administrator, Corporate Actions will be responsible for coordinating assigned projects, such as, exchanges, takeover bids, rights issues, stock splits /dividends, new stock and bond issues, retractions, and redemptions, ensuring all client requirements are met.

The Administrator, Corporate Actions will also process ongoing specials and perform related activities.


NOTE:
This is an in-office position.

  • Key Accountabilities:_
  • Review, screen, batch, track and process Corporate Actions; namely plans of arrangements, depositaries, rights offers, warrants, conversions and redemptions
  • Review, screen and process mandatory reorganizations, principally exchanges
  • Respond to Investor Services inquiries relating to Corporate Action events
  • Adhere to time schedules and processing requirements
  • Populate tracking, reporting and cancellation/requisition files
  • Track and report on Letter of Transmittal deficiencies
  • Prepare reports for management
  • Perform reconciliation to ensure current issued and outstanding shares agree to fund balances
  • Liaise with CDS for redemptions, conversions, warrant and rights exercises and depositary activity
  • Ensure compliance with corporate AML policies on outbound funds
  • Assist with gathering annual tax data for other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures
  • Key Qualifications:_
  • 2 years of experience in a trust or other complex corporate actions environment is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite/Google Workspace is necessary
  • Excellent judgement, attention to detail and accuracy are essential attributes to avoid financial loss
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • A high level of attention to accuracy and detail required
  • Ability to analyze, problem solve and work independently with mínimal direction
  • A willingness to learn and accept new challenges and be part of a diverse team
