LPC Construction is a high-end renovation and remodeling company that pride itself on our attention to detail and on creating a comfortable experience for our clients.

We're looking to hire a full-time carpenter/remodeler in Toronto to work with our small team.

We're in the High Park / Junction area, with sites stretching from Mississauga, up to Forest Hill, and over to The Beaches, so living near there will make coordination and logistics easier when we're bouncing between sites.

Hours are 8:004:00 Monday-Friday, with very occasional longer days when the project demands it, but no weekend work.
Since most of our projects are small to midsized renovations, duties could include everything from demolition and formwork, to trim, tile, painting, or even restoration work on old cabinetry. We don't expect you to have experience in everything, but the ability to learn new skills and think on your feet will be important.
Pay is negotiable but competitive. It depends on the skills and the tools you can bring to the job, and includes a comprehensive benefits package after the probation period.

Requirements:

A driver's license and your own vehicle
Your own tools, at least a basic set but more is better
A year of experience in residential construction, or a diploma in construction technology. We're looking for someone with a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate and coordinate their work around the rest of the team.
Good people skills. Our clients often live onsite throughout the renovation, and being able to answer their questions, keep them informed about the work you're doing, and just generally put them at ease goes a long way.
