We are currently looking to hire an experienced 3PL Sales Specialist. This position is an in-office position.Primary Responsibilities:

Understanding of 3PL (third-party logistics) industry:
-
Experience in freight brokering within a non-asset based company:
- Initiate sales and marketing calls to prospective or current clients _
(Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold calling, etc.)_ - Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Manage accounts to retain existing relationships
- Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers
Your own book of business_
- Familiarity with supply chain operations and logistics processes (i.e. balancing LTL loads and identifying FTL requirements)
- Experience billing end client
- Communicate with customers regarding shipments as required including challenges/issues regarding service
- Problem resolution; and
- Other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3 years experience in sales
- 5 years experience in 3PL Logistics Industry
Education and Certifications:
- Diploma and/or Degree in relevant discipline preferred (Supply Chain Management, etc.)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge with shipping terms and documents
- Knowledge of cost per KM within Canada (highway and local)
- Sales experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Advanced knowledge of logístical concepts and supply chain terminology, specifically with international freight
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
