We are currently looking to hire an experienced 3PL Sales Specialist. This position is an in-office position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Understanding of 3PL (third-party logistics) industry:

-
Experience in freight brokering within a non-asset based company:

Initiate sales and marketing calls to prospective or current clients _
(Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold calling, etc.)_
Develop and maintain relationships with clients
Manage accounts to retain existing relationships
Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers

Your own book of business_

Familiarity with supply chain operations and logistics processes (i.e. balancing LTL loads and identifying FTL requirements)
Experience billing end client
Communicate with customers regarding shipments as required including challenges/issues regarding service
Problem resolution; and
Other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Experience:

3 years experience in sales
5 years experience in 3PL Logistics Industry

Education and Certifications:

Diploma and/or Degree in relevant discipline preferred (Supply Chain Management, etc.)

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge with shipping terms and documents
Knowledge of cost per KM within Canada (highway and local)
Sales experience
Strong negotiation skills
Strong Communication Skills
Advanced knowledge of logístical concepts and supply chain terminology, specifically with international freight
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail
