    About the role

  • Manage the filing of legal documents in appropriate subfolders in accordance with required naming and metadata conventions
  • Update and maintain tracking of projects, contracts, and approvals on various platforms
  • Oversee the North American legal inbox and direct requests appropriately to various legal and other internal staff
  • Ensure adequate record keeping of executed documents, approval trails and other legal documentation is maintained in various databases
  • Provide support for job opening documentation
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Administer the maintenance of permits, insurance certificates/claims and business licenses in various locations across North America
  • Support the administrative function of the legal team, including the tracking and payment of legal invoices from external firms
  • Schedule meetings as required by the North American legal department
  • Additional administrative tasks as required from time to time by lawyers in the North American team
  • About you

    ·5 years' experience providing legal administrative or paralegal support within a national firm. Experience in an "in house" role will be considered an asset

    ·Ability to work independently, as well as in a team

    ·Ability to meet the challenge of tight deadlines and working under pressure

    ·Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    ·Strong organizational skills and ability to work with all levels of management

    ·Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and strict confidentiality.

    ·Advanced Excel skills.

    ·Task oriented and self-starter.

    ·Possess resilience and have ability to maintain composure while under pressure.

    Hourly Range: $ $30.29 ($56,000-$63,000)

    Expected Wage: Variation in wage is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
