Technician - North Vancouver, Canada - HME Home Health Ltd.
Description
Hours for this role are full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. HME offers a competitive wage along with a full benefits package inclusive of extended medical benefits.Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for CMEDS program (Leading portal and requests)
- Work with CMEDS staff to coordinate preparing equipment and set up
- Responsible for coordinating delivery and returns of equipment
- Assist in scheduling of orders. Pulling and gathering/ staging of basic equipment
- Communicating with clients and therapist providing responses to their enquiries, providing other information as requested.
- Working with Healthcare professionals (Nursing staff, Occupational and Physio Therapists, etc.) to coordinate the delivery and installation of medical equipment.
- Providing information on the appropriate medical equipment and services for client needs.
- Working with contract accounts and nonprofit organizations to coordinate the delivery of equipment for their clients.
- Using the custom CRM system, preparing quotations and executing work orders to ensure our clients get the highest level of service in a timely manner.
- Preparing and organizing all paperwork for deliveries/sales/support services.
- Performing various administrative functions and office organization.
- May require minor lifting of inventory up to 40 lbs.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English (both verbal and written).
- Strong computer skills (fast)
- Multitasking and hardworking (expect to process 3040 orders a day).
- Healthcare experience is an asset however full training will be provided on the specific medical equipment.
- Must have a friendly, positive attitude and have the ability to have fun while working in a fastpaced environment.
