Description

As a Drillers Helper/Site Helper you will be responsible for the drilling, installation, grouting, and testing of geothermal boreholes.

You are experienced working on drilling sites with heavy equipment, and can manage any other related responsibilities as required for the installation of geothermal heating and cooling projects throughout Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Perform all duties required for the safe and efficient installation of geothermal boreholes including but not limited to: operating a pressure grouter, loop reel, tremie reel, telehandler, skid steer etc.
Perform all duties required for the operation of the drill rig on each site, maintaining all equipment with regards to maintenance and performing small mechanical repairs with the highest of standards with regards to safety, workmanship, performance, and efficiency.
Willing to travel anywhere in Ontario.

Majority of work is located within the GTA:

Work extended days and overtime as needed, including up to 12 hours per day during peak construction season.
Operate and maintain construction equipment on site, including but not limited to: drilling rigs, air compressors, grouter, fusion equipment (3/4" to 12"), Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, telehandlers Gensets, and Light Plants.
Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
Work independently or in a team based environment as required.
Work in all weather conditions and in remote areas as required.

Experience:

2+ years working on drilling sites
2+ years working within the construction industry
Experience working with subcontractors and managing relationships with several different trade partners within a project.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$30.00-$48.00 per hour
