RAPS is Seeking a Temporary Overnight Caregiver to Assist an individual with Alzheimer's (E8)_

Location_: South Edmonton _
Start time ASAP, End time July 30th_*_

Days: Saturday and Sundays_

- **Hours: 10:30pm

  • 6am *Overnight Awake**_

Job Description_: Duties include but are not limited to: Transfers using a Hoyer Lift (bed to wheelchair)_
- _Personal care: changing incontinence products, dressing, peri care in bed, sponge bath, wash client's hair in bed_
- _Taking vitals: blood pressure, temperature, respiration rate, pulse_
- _Subcutaneous/clysis administration (insertion done by LPN) & medication administration_
- _Meal preparation with feeding assistance_
- _Client engagement_
- _Light housekeeping: laundry, light kitchen cleaning_
- _Supervision_
- _Charting/documentation in log book_

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 7 weeks

Part-time hours: 15 per week


Salary:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Licence (preferred)
