ASL is hiring an
Accounts Payable Clerk (Maternity Leave Contract)

Founded in 1975, ASL is a well-established multi-service civil construction company building earthworks, site preparation, landscaping, tile drainage and environmental habitat construction projects.

The accounts payable clerk will be involved in various aspects of accounts payables/receivables, data entry, and office administration.

This is a one-and-a-half-year contract position covering for a maternity leave, working on a full-time basis from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from our office in Ottawa (Osgoode) with competitive wage based on experience.

Major responsibilities but not limited to the following:

Ongoing processing of account payables in a timely manner
Matching, coding and processing of vendor invoices for the construction and shop divisions
Respond to and resolve vendor inquiries
Ensuring compliance of company requirements and policies
Preparation of monthly cheque runs

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Post-Secondary Education in accounting or finance would be an asset
2+ years' relevant experience in this position
Proficient with accounting software
Excellent communication skills
Detailoriented and have a strong ability to handle high volumes
