We are a Tampa, FL-based digital marketing agency specializing in Local SEO for home service businesses.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Google Business Profile (GBP) specialist to execute a structured GBP optimization and maintenance checklist across multiple client accounts.

This is an ongoing role for someone who can follow systems, document their work properly, and think strategically about local SEO performance.

You will be responsible for fully executing all items on our GBP Execution Checklist for each assigned client.

Scope of Work

Your responsibilities will include:

Full Google Business Profile optimization
Updating and optimizing business descriptions
Primary and secondary category optimization
Adding and optimizing services with keyword-rich descriptions
Adding products (where applicable)
Uploading optimized, properly named images
Writing and publishing weekly GBP posts
Posting updates, offers, and seasonal content
Managing Q&A section
Monitoring and responding to reviews (with templates)
Reviewing competitor GBPs for optimization opportunities
Geo-relevant content enhancement
Ensuring NAP consistency
Tracking updates inside our shared Google Sheet
Reporting completed tasks

All work must follow our internal SOP and structured documentation process.

Requirements

Must have:

Proven experience with Google Business Profile optimization
Strong understanding of Local SEO fundamentals
Ability to write well-structured, professional GBP posts
Excellent attention to detail
Experience working inside Google Sheets
Ability to follow structured checklists without missing steps
Strong English writing skills

Bonus if you have:

Experience working with home service businesses
Experience with SEO image naming conventions
Familiarity with tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, etc.
