SAP S/4 HANA SD Consultant - Toronto, Canada - High Cliff Partners Inc.

Description

Our Toronto based client is seeking a skilled SAP S/4 HANA SD Consultant contractor to join their current project. This will be primarily a remote work setting, however, the contractor will needed to come to the Toronto client site for 2 days a month.

• Collaborate with the SCM team to complete and manage activities according to the project plan and guidance from the SCM Lead and PMO.
• Provide support to both onshore and offshore consulting teams as well as the client, ensuring alignment on plans, deliverables, and action items for the SCM stream.
• Execute deliverables for the SCM team in accordance with the project plan, ensuring timely completion.
• Assist the client in meeting project deliverables as outlined in the project plan.
• Identify, log, manage, and resolve risks and issues related to the SCM stream.
• Generate status reports and contribute to status presentations in team lead meetings.
• Document change management impacts and provide input for change management and training deliverables.
• Create and review functional specifications for the SCM team.
• Conduct functional unit tests of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects.
• Configure the SCM module based on user stories and collaborate with the client for testing and user story completion.
• Assist in the development of integration test scenarios and scripts.
• Support the execution of integration tests, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other test cycles as per the project plan.
• Manage and resolve defects identified within the SCM stream.
• Execute cutover steps as per the plan for various system builds, including QA, pre-production, and production.
• Provide support for security build and testing.
• Attend all necessary meetings to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above.
• Proven experience as a Functional SD Consultant within SAP S/4 HANA.
• Strong understanding of SCM SD processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA implementation methodologies and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and willing to travel occasionally to the client site in Toronto (2 days a month) .
