Job Summary/Basic Function

The Glenmore Landfill serves as the solid waste disposal facility for residents within the Central Okanagan Regional District and offers a variety of disposal options onsite including recycling, organic materials, household and commercial waste.
We are currently hiring for parttime Landfill Scale Operators to join our team In this role you will weigh vehicle loads, collect load fees, direct vehicles to appropriate areas for dumping and provide general information to the public. The successful applicants will be customerfocused, teamplayers with a passion for, and experience in providing excellent customer service. Computer literacy and cashhandling experience is a must along with the flexibility to work various shifts including weekends. A clear Criminal Record Check will be required.
