• Understanding of the French (Quebecois) language

Responsible for planning estimating new sales opportunities. Gathers and analyzes information, determines components and related costs. Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.

Reviews Mechanical Drawings, Control Sequences and/or product specifications to accurately determine amount of materials needed in a Building Automation, Security or Fire System.

Documents overall material need, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders. Adjusts amounts for existing inventory, configuration and for orders of conventional sizes. Requires ability to understand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering team. .

Requires understanding of the French (Quebecois) language. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within estimating process. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
