    Location: Hybrid - This position can be based out of Ontario, Alberta & British Columbia

  • What you'll be working on

  • Provides prompt and courteous problem resolution of enquiries from both internal and external sources
  • Provides administrative support to specific members of the functional area to assist in the achievement of goals, effective execution of sales activity
  • Achieves and maintains high quality & timely service excellence to support customer retention and divisional profitability
  • Ensures the effective coordination and delivery of administrative, renewal, plan amendment and new business documentation
  • Ensures the communication of information to relevant members of the organizational unit or within defined channels
  • Act as key contact with distribution partners and internal stakeholders
  • Utilize knowledge of industry standards and internal processes to creatively provide solutions and timely resolution to complex issues that minimize escalation
  • Represent Empire Life in finalist and employee meetings
  • Ensure relevant documentation is maintained to facilitate team collaboration and effectiveness
  • Identify and effectively communicate stakeholder concerns and act to resolve issues; escalate as required
  • Ensure effective communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide administrative and service support to members of the functional area
  • What we're looking for you to have

  • 3+ years work experience in group insurance/financial services industry or account management
  • Working knowledge of group products, contract provisions and administrative procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in a group sales and service environment
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet and database software
  • GBA or working towards is an asset
  • Completion of a University degree in business administration or related discipline
  • Well developed verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to investigate, analyze and present information clearly and logically to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well developed organizational skills
  • Well developed decision making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
