Company Route Representative
Take advantage of this opportunity and join our talented team as a Company Route Representative. This is a full time entry-level position, with long-term career opportunities. This position will be based out of Duncan, B.C. Weekend work may be necessary from time to time.

You will be required to drive a delivery truck (cube van) and sell our premium products to our established customer base in Duncan, Chemainus, Crofton and the surrounding rural area.

This position is ideal for someone with grocery experience and/or convenience retail sales or other DSD related experience.

What are the Duties & Responsibilities?

Service customers by selling and delivering Old Dutch/ Humpty Dumpty products
Stock, merchandise and rotate products on stores shelves and displays
Manage inventory levels to ensure product is fresh at all times
Follow the set delivery frequency for each account
Treat vehicles and equipment with courtesy and care
Operate a handheld invoicing computer system and be responsible for daily cash settlements
It is expected the Company Route Drivers serve the customers in a professional and courteous manner.

What are the Prerequisites, Skills & Knowledge we are looking for:

Sales Experience a definite asset
Minimum Grade 12 Education (Post-Secondary Education is an asset)
Valid Driver's License (drivers abstract must be provided).
Reliable Transportation.
Preference is given to those having the ability to drive a 35 ton truck.
Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
Excellent organizational skills; able to plan and follow through on key priorities
Team player with Strong communication skills
Able to perform physically demanding work (bending, twisting, kneeling, etc)
