The Opportunity

InterRent REIT is looking for a Team Lead - IT Helpdesk on a full-time basis to join its Oakville team.


Responsibilities will include, at a minimum:

  • Troubleshooting all support calls from a ticket queue submitted by end-users
  • Setting up new PC/MAC workstations, printers and other peripherals
  • Troubleshooting PC/MAC hardware and operating system software in a corporate environment
  • Support of wireless telecom devices including user support, hardware provisioning (IOS, Android)
  • Repairing and/or coordinating repair of hardware devices
  • Creating documentation and/or revising training manuals
  • Maintaining asset tracking
  • Manage the ticket system such as assigning/followingup tickets and creating management reporting
  • Mentoring other members of the Helpdesk team
  • Assuming additional responsibilities and completing special projects as needed or directed.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in a Helpdesk environment
  • Experience with all variations of Windows, MAC and Mobile OS
  • Thorough understanding of IP networking
  • Outstanding people skills and customer service skills orientation
  • Able to handle rapidly changing priorities, high visibilityhigh stress situations
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Excellent research skills
Additional Information

  • You will be required to own a reliable vehicle as this is a Monday-Friday inoffice position
  • Corporate hours are 8:30am5pm and you will be required to be oncall
