    $57,000 - $62,000 per annum

    Summary


    We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The Maintenance Coordinator manages vehicle maintenance, including liaising with drivers, creating work orders, updating unit down lists, coordinating with vendors, organizing documents, operating a forklift, and issuing purchase orders.

    Responsibilities


    As a Maintenance Coordinator, your duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Liaising with drivers when they bring in pre and post trip inspection reports.
    • Creating and closing out work orders as well as maintaining the preventative maintenance schedules and repairs for waste vehicles using fleet maintenance software.
    • Updating daily unit down lists, as well as contacting outside vendors to obtain updates on truck repairs being conducted offsite.
    • Organizing and file maintenance documents to ensure complete vehicle records are available.
    • Issue purchase orders for purposes of ordering parts and outside services.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    Competencies & Qualifications

    • Comfortable with prioritization, planning, coordination, and organization, with an ability to respond and adapt in changing, high pressure environments.
    • Ability to assess problem situations, recognize issues and use judgment to create solutions that meet required standards.
    • Understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and their responsibilities as an employee with in it.
    • Strong computer knowledge.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, auditory and oral).
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and remain an engaged team member.
    • Valid G Class driver's licence and clean drivers abstract.
    • Flexibility with scheduling as this position occasionally requires early starts, delayed finishes and, on rare occasions, weekend work.
    • Previous experience in a Service Advisor role an asset.
    • Previous experience with Fleet Maintenance software an asset.
