As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the appropriate and efficient placement, transfer, and discharge of all inpatients and emergency patients in a confidential manner. The Bed Allocator/Patient Registration Clerk is a valuable member of the Patient Access team and has a significant impact on the efficient and effective operation of the bed management function. This position is responsible for maintaining the corporate bed board for the organization providing a central resource for internal and external customers.Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of Bed allocation and bed board management experience in a hospital setting required. A minimum of 2 years of registration/admitting experience in a hospital setting required. Minimum one year completed in a Medical Office Administration program. Demonstrated excellent customer service focus.
