    Description

    TRM Technologies Inc. is seeking the services of an experienced Proposal Coordinator to lead the management and preparation of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on a full-time permanent basis.

    We are looking for a creative multi-tasker with the ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team, to meet tight timelines, and to collaborate with both the resource and sales functions.

    Our ideal candidate would have some experience with responding to Government of Canada RFP bid responses. However, experience with producing complex documents in response to private sector bids will also be strongly considered.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Managing the end to end process of a proposal response and all its related efforts including:
      • Providing advice and guidance to Recruiters and Account Management throughout the proposal process, the prescribed template and matrix formats identified in the RFP are adhered to
      • Providing a thorough QA of all proposal response components including proofreading and editing documents, matrices, resumes, project references, proposal submission content according to TRM's guidelines
      • Facilitating bid meetings and ensuring proposal schedules are identified and followed
      • Preparing all final bid packages including printing and binding
    • Assisting with all administrative tasks required to ensure that TRM's Bid Development Centre runs effectively allowing us to respond to multiple time-sensitive requirements including tracking RFPs, updating reports, filing RFPs and proposals, etc.
    The successful candidate will have:
    • Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks according to highly time-sensitive material
    • Full fluency in English is essential - i.e. written and oral communication skills
    • Prior experience in either proposal administration/coordination/management, IT recruitment, or development of resource skills matrices for bid purposes
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
    • An interest in taking on a variety of tasks/assignments
    • Attention to detail and sound copying and editing skills
    • Experience in the federal and/or provincial government recruitment sector would be an asset
    • Energy, enthusiasm, and initiative
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
