One of Toronto's fastest growing companies is looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team, to wear many hats and work with us long term to help grow the platform.

ZipLunch has created the first restaurant friendly and customer-focused food ordering platform of its kind which operates very differently than all the other platforms.

This role will incorporate several functions including Menu Curation, Operations, Research, Marketing and Financial Administration.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Research popular and trending restaurants
  • Help create weekly curated menus based on popularity and other factors
  • Coordinate daily with restaurant partners
  • Customer support & success including gathering user feedback
  • Execute market research and competitive analysis and help implement the findings into actionable items
  • Help develop, manage, and execute marketing plans
  • Create proposals and other promotional material
  • Take on oneoff projects as needed (we're a startup projects like this are likely to occur frequently)

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in Operations, Business Analyst or Marketing role
  • Advanced computer skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Nice to have: Experience in the tech startup space

Skills:


  • Passion: you have a very clear vision of why you want to join our team and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Very strong writing skills, to help develop/manage content
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Very strong research skills
  • Familiarity with standard software tools and technologies
  • Ability to adapt to our rapidly changing and fastpaced environment as well as daytoday unpredictability
  • Strong multitasker, can manage various projects at once, who can change directions quickly and with ease
  • Great attention to detail and ability to anticipate and address needs/issues before they occur

Salary:
$40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
