- Supervise, coordinate, and plan activities of site personnel and subcontractors.
- Assist in determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment and work schedule; document actual hours worked.
- Maintain daily site log which documents work progress, deficiencies, and followup action required.
- Ensure that complete, uptodate project documents (drawings, specifications, change notices, etc.) are maintained on site at all times, and confirm site personnel and subtrades are working with the most current documentation.
- Ensure that job site is kept clean and clear of debris and hazards at all times by enforcing trade cleanup requirements and regular inspection.
- Ensure that job site safety documentation is completed and maintained daily and ensure that necessary signage in work areas is always in place.
- Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications and local codes.
- Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required.
- Monitor site personnel and subtrade compliance with health and safety requirements, and document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Ensure that Flynn Bros Projects HSE policies are followed and enforced. Make certain that all personnel attending the site have had proper safety orientation and have required PPE.
- Ensure all required inspections, materials, equipment, etc., and support personnel activities are coordinated with project schedule.
- Promptly communicate problems and information requests to the Project Manager in order to avoid schedule disruptions and unplanned costs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- superintendent: 5 years (preferred)
- Construction: 5 years (required)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- drivers license (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 100% (preferred)
