The Market Intelligence Manager will work with people as enthusiastic about data and analytics as you are by joining the Churn & Base Management Insights team


The Churn & Base Management Insights team work with a wide array of data and teams across the company to ensure TELUS is making the right decisions for both our organization and our customer base, with access to cutting-edge analytics tools and all the training and support needed to deliver exceptional results.


What you'll do


The Market Intelligence Manager will develop and present key insights concerning TELUS' consumer Home Solutions base and churn to stakeholders and leaders as part of the broader Strategy & Data Insights organization.

The forecasts, reports and insights you share will influence the future of our organization, inform our business decisions, and provide our partner teams the tools to help make the future friendly.


Qualifications:


What you bring

  • Strong storyteller, communicator and collaborator; able to build relationships with audiences at all levels including senior leadership
  • Strong SQL skills and relational database experience, 5+ years
  • Google Cloud Platform experience, particularly BigQuery, 1+ years
  • Data visualization experience with standard industry tools
  • Tableau preferred, 2+ years
  • Expert Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets spreadsheet experience, 5+ years
  • Experience in a market analysis role, accounting role or other proven experience in a related position
  • An eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt to new software tools and business needs on an ongoing basis
  • 5+ years of experience in business and marketing strategy
  • English verbal and written required for this opportunity

Great-to-haves

  • GitHub experience
  • Pulumi / Infrastructure as Code experience
  • SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Base experience, 1+ years
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing or a Computer Science field
