Day Camp Leader (2 Temporary - up to 3 months)

Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department

Inclusion Leader


This role supervises and assists participants with additional physical, behavioural or developmental support requirements in a variety of camp settings.

The Inclusion Leader role will work collaboratively with participants, parents, and supervisors to adapt activities and ensure camp programs are safe and accessible.

As the Inclusion Leader, you would provide one-on-one support to children in various camps. Experience providing positive behaviour support, visual aids, and other behaviour management strategies is an asset.

Leaders will have a love for working with children and youth, playing games, doing crafts and working within a team.

Leaders will also support staff team and help plan and implement group activities and out-trips.


KEY DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS
Current Standard First Aid and CPR C are required.

A Class 4 Driver's License is an asset.

Successful applicants will be required to provide criminal record clearance as a condition of employment.


Work schedule:
Monday - Friday, up to 40 hours per week


$21.88 per hour, Pay Grade 103
