Responsibilities:

• Building and repair work on new and existing swimming pools (position, align and join structural components, shovel cement and other materials, plumbing, dig trenches etc.)
• Hot Tub Deliveries and hot tub repair
• Load, unload and identify building materials, machinery and tools
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Pool building, concrete finishing, plumbing and/or construction knowledge would be an asset
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills
• Mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary for construction
• Must posses a valid driver's license
• Respect coworkers and avoid unnecessary conflict
• Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods and the tools required in various construction processes
• Ability to work independently or as a team to complete daily activities according to a work schedule
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labour under adverse field conditions

Work Conditions

• Job requires ability to work with tools, lumber, steel and other materials
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (steel toe boots)
• Regularly work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
• Overtime may be required depending on the project
• Travel to other communities and overnight stays may be required

Salary/wage ranges based on your level of experience.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
$18.00-$23.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
