Description
We are currently looking for an
Electromechanical Technician to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position located in Whitby, Ontario.


Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and troubleshoot diverse automated production equipment used for the manufacture of high volume packaging products in a team environment.


Objectives:

  • Ensure that all production and plant equipment are in good, safe working conditions
  • Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic control circuits.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical machine failures.
  • Participate in the preventative maintenance program to ensure production downtime is minimized.

Qualifications:

  • Capable to perform general welding duties
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a maintenance technician. Knowledge and skills in
plastic processing is a plus

  • Electrician License or extensive experience in Industrial Electricity is an asset
  • Millwright license or extensive experience in Industrial Mechanics is an asset
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and work safely with mínimal supervision.
  • Dayshift / Available for after hours and emergency repairs
